The Town of Gilbert staff are preparing for a permanent street closure on Washington Avenue between N. Ash Street and Gilbert Road. In January, a portion of Washington Avenue, included in the South Anchor land sale located at 40 W. Elliot Road, was officially abandoned and is now private property. The developer will begin fencing the area in late January and post notices of private property.
