The City of Avondale Sam Garcia Library invites the community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a variety of free, family-friendly programs throughout September and into October, including the library’s annual Tu Herencia celebration on Saturday, Sept. 26. Tu Herencia will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sam Garcia Library, 495 E. Western Ave. The celebration will highlight Hispanic culture and heritage through crafts, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.
