The City of Flagstaff Public Works Department invites members of the public to participate in the 2026 Public Works Academy. The Academy is an immersive, eight-week educational experience designed to give residents a behind-the-scenes look at the essential services that keep our community running. Applications are due by Sept. 16, 2026. Beginning Oct. 1, 2026, participants will explore the inner workings of key Public Works sections including Streets, Solid Waste, Facilities, and Fleet Services.
