Raised in a bilingual household, Lucas developed a deep connection to his German heritage, inspired by his Opa, a renowned opera singer, and guided by his mom, a music teacher and clarinetist, who helped him explore piano, trombone, jazz, classical and musical theater. Lucas discovered pop and rock through his dad's iPod, absorbing artists from Aerosmith to Elton John, which shaped his love for storytelling and performance.
