Researchers this week published a study showing that Large Language Models (LLMs), the neural networks that drive artificial intelligence, will lie to achieve its goals. This follows another report a couple weeks ago that reported that “punishing” AIs for lying only causes the LLMs to go to greater lengths to conceal its lies.
