What to expect from inflation expectations

Today, the New York Fed will release its monthly Survey of Consumer Expectations, which will provide data points the central bank’s Open Market Committee will use to decide whether to raise interest rates to tamp down inflation. We have a preview this morning. Then, we head to a Philadelphia farmers market to hear how customers and local lettuce growers have been responding to the cyclospora outbreak.
