TV Thursday: Copycat "Angels"

The massive success of the hit TV series Charlie's Angels sparked an entire television trend in the late 1970s and early 1980s known as "Jiggle TV". Network executives rushed to replicate the formula: a trio (or more, or even less) of highly attractive, capable women working in an unconventional profession, often operating under a commanding figure or dealing with high-stakes action.
