A federal grand jury charged the Southern Poverty Law Center with wire fraud, false statements, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. It appears the nonprofit organization funneled money to individuals who were associated with various violent extremist groups, including the Ku Klux Klan and Aryan Nations.
