Born in the Bronx, he transitioned from folk musician to studio engineer, starting as a janitor at the Record Plant. His work on Lennons Double Fantasy and other albums left a lasting impact on rock. Despite Lennons murder, he continued producing for various artists, sharing stories until last year. Douglas legacy lives on through his timeless productions.
