Georgia football just pulled off a late-season recruiting coup, locking in 6-foot-2 wide receiver Tre Shields — who was headed to junior college — during an official visit Friday night. After finishing academic requirements, Shields, who posted 54 catches for over 1,000 yards and 9 TDs last season, flipped from South Florida to Athens. He’s the second 2026 commit since spring practices ended, joining running back Nick Peal from Roswell High. The Bulldogs are clearly stacking the future with elite talent.
