The Devil and Mr. O presents “Gravestone,” episode 6, originally broadcast October 22, 1971. Written by Arch Oboler, this syndicated presentation is a retitled revival of his 1942 Lights Out! drama, “Poltergeist.”
During a winter sleigh outing, three city women discover a snow-covered country cemetery. A bit of carefree play among the half-buried gravestones gives way to unease when an old warning about disturbed graves begins to feel all too real.
Old Time Horror Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
