Omaha’s beloved “Broom Man,” Reverend Livingston Wills, now stands immortalized in bronze as a new sculpture was unveiled in Turner Park — crafted by local artist John Lajba and cheered on by neighbors, city officials, and even fans from afar like Nancy Herrod from Las Vegas. Personal stories poured out: Alan Nogg remembered his trademark FDR quip, while Erin Arellano called him a heartbeat of her life. The tribute isn’t done yet — a plaque is coming soon to complete the story of this community icon whose warmth touched every corner of Omaha.
