"The Events at Poroth Farm" - Horror Hill

Seeking three quiet months away from New York City, Jeremy retreats to an isolated farm in rural New Jersey with little more than a roomful of books and plans to spend the summer immersed in the classics of Gothic literature. At first, Poroth Farm seems ideal. His landlords, Sarr and Deborah Poroth, are reserved but welcoming, the countryside is peaceful, and Jeremy finally has all the solitude he could want.
