Luna stands on a rainless Bleecker Street at dawn, the doppelgänger holding an unfamiliar key. Clara's ghost leads her to a corner she almost recognizes — a bodega with a cat whose eyes are sewn shut. Inside, a payphone rings with no dial tone, and a voice from the receiver describes a memory Luna never had: a childhood summer in a house that burned down.
