S1E46 - The Pantry at the Beaumont House, September 1991

September 1991. A house-sitting job at the Beaumont place on Old Fork Road, outside a town called Linwood. The house had been empty for years. The owner, Mrs. Beaumont, was in a nursing home a hundred miles away. I was supposed to check for leaks, make sure the pipes didn't freeze, keep an eye on things. What I found in the pantry wasn't on the checklist. A door I hadn't noticed before. A smell like wet earth and something else. And a voice, very small, very patient, asking me to let it out. I didn't. But I didn't lock it...
