The lamp on Beech Street is unlit, the houses are unfamiliar, and a young girl she recognizes as her grandmother waits on the porch. Luna follows the girl to the old mill, where the third lamp's fire has never been lit—and she must decide whether to light it herself or let the cycle end before it begins.
